On July 6th, Eco MoCo kickstarted the year with a Bakesale fundraiser! Members of Eco MoCo had the opportunity to volunteer by donating baked goods to be sold or showing up and helping sell food. Members had the chance to help fundraise for Eco MoCo's future projects and connect with other executive board members in different departments.

"The Eco MoCo bake sale was such a fun experience!" Marshall Friedman, a sophomore attending Poolesville High School and the current Eco MoCo Treasurer, responded after he was asked about his experience attending the bake sale. "I loved talking with the new deputies and getting to know everyone, and I'm honored to know our efforts went to such a great cause and to a great team of people."

The bake sale was successful, and over $500 was raised to help support the organization's cause. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and supported the bake sale, it was a successful and fun first event for the 2024-2025 year.
